Disability services

We provide disability services for people with Acquired Brain Injury and other Neurological Conditions

ONE Rehabilitation Service provides allied health services to adult participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) through capacity building supports for adults with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.

Whether your NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed, we can help you work towards the goals you have identified as part of your current NDIS plan.

Our disability services include:

Exercise Physiology
Programs are designed to help improve your body strength, cardiovascular endurance, balance and mobility, and to assist you to achieve your NDIS plan goals.

Occupational Therapy

Therapies are designed to help you participate in the occupations, tasks and roles of your everyday life including assistive technology reports and training.

Physiotherapy

Programs are designed to help you regain mobility and improve physical function. We can provide assessment, recommendations, and assistive technology reports and training.

Psychology

Our Psychologist provides education and therapeutic supports to you and your family if you are experiencing difficulties with adjustment, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma after acquired bran injury and other neurological conditions.

Social Work

We provide you with assessments, recommendations and therapies. We can assist with case coordination, advocate for you and help you to navigate systems like Centrelink and NDIS.

Speech Pathology

Programs are designed to provide you with strategies to increase your confidence and competence with communication, language and/or swallowing ability so that you can participate in your usual (or new) social situations, activities and routines.

We offer a free 30 minute introductory session to meet with our Disability Service Coordinator at our clinic to discuss what your NDIS plan goals are and how we can help you work towards achieving them.

We can provide you with assessment, recommendations, therapy and training related to your brain injury or neurological condition, assistive technology requests, basic home modifications, and will provide a summary report for your NDIS plan review if requested.

If it has been identified you require allied health reports to support your NDIS application, our therapists can assist with assessment and recommendations.

We will complete a service agreement with you to outline our planned intervention. This is reviewed with your therapist on a regular basis, as we know priorities can change throughout your plan and as you live your life.

You can engage our services to work with you as a single therapist or as an interdisciplinary team approach which allows our therapists to work together as a team to help you achieve your plan goals.  If you have a range of existing therapists and support workers, we will work collaboratively with your existing team towards your goals.
