About Lucy

Lucy Clutterbuck

Masters of Physiotherapy, Flinders University

Lucy is a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a wide variety of experience. She has worked with clients with various neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Friedreich’s Ataxia, Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and Spina Bifida. In 2016, Lucy was awarded the ‘Australian Physiotherapy Association Graduate Entry Master’s Prize for Clinical Excellence’.

Lucy’s decision and passion for physiotherapy was driven by her younger sister who was born with a very rare degenerative neuromuscular condition. Currently, there is little known about the condition, and there are minimal treatment options available and no cure. She moved overseas in 2012 with her mum to support her sister to have therapy. At this clinic, she met researchers, neurologists, professors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and clients from all over the world. Watching the rehabilitation sessions is what inspired her to become a physiotherapist. This personal experience has made her a more compassionate and empathetic person, who is truly passionate about improving the quality of other people’s lives in whatever way she can.
