Initially training and working in neuropsychology and clinical research, Laura discovered occupational therapy after joining an allied health team, and knew it was the right path for her. After completing a placement with a community stroke clinic, Laura found her passion for neurorehabilitation.
Originally from the UK, Laura worked as an OT in neurorehabilitation, specifically with people who had experienced brain injury, stroke, Parkinson’s and other long term neurological conditions, before emigrating to Australia in early 2022. Laura is a compassionate person who loves being part of an interdisciplinary team and helping clients achieve their goals.
Outside of work Laura enjoys sampling South Australia’s food and wine and exploring the underwater world by scuba diving.
