Jo Smidt

Jo has over 20 years’ experience working with people with acquired brain injury across acute, rehabilitation and community settings in New Zealand, UK and Australia. Her extensive experience has enabled her to develop her skills in the treatment of speech, language and cognitive communication disorders resulting from acquired  brain injury and other neurological conditions.

Jo is passionate about working with people with brain injury and dedicated to making a real and positive difference to her client’s lives. A key focus of her approach is to support her clients to understand and manage the impact of their cognitive and communicative difficulties in real life contexts, enabling them to return to meaningful roles and activities at home and in the community including education and work.
