Voice Clinic Adelaide, South Australia

Voice therapy for better outcomes with Parkinson’s Disease

People who live with Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions can often experience difficulties in their day-to-day life with their voice. Low volume and poor clarity and pronunciation can make it difficult to maintain conversations with people, which can bring many negative impacts, and make your improvement toward comfortable living much harder. It’s our goal with our clients to work toward what they decide matters most, and we run LVST sessions to open the door to more confidence speaking and better relationships.

LVST for Parkinson’s Disease and other neurological conditions

We run our LVST sessions as an intensive 4-week course, with four 1-hour sessions per week. You’ll work one-on-one with a Speech Therapist with an exclusive focus in clients with Parkinson’s Disease, and is trained in using the LVST method to find the optimal results.

Throughout your sessions, you’ll follow the course and get loud! LVST is about working on the volume of your voice, building strength and confidence to overcome the challenges of Parkinson’s, and, at the same time, see improvements in variations in pitch, articulation, swallowing and facial expressions. Ask our team about LVST to see just how effective it can be.
